PRICE VS QUANTITY - LISTING TYPES
This policy explains how PatriotBuySell handles variation listings and non-variation listings that are missing a price, a quantity, or both, so sellers know exactly where these listings will appear on the marketplace.
How Missing Price or Quantity Affects a Listing
- If a variation's quantity is set to zero in the Variation Family Table, that variation will appear in the seller's Out of Stock Listings
- If a variation's price is set to zero in the Variation Family Table, that variation will appear in the seller's Inactive Listings
- If both price and quantity are set to zero for a variation, it will appear in the seller's Out of Stock Listings
Visibility on the Marketplace
- A variation with a zero price or zero quantity will not appear in product search results, category pages, or anywhere else on the marketplace
- These variations are visible only to the seller, on their Out of Stock Listings page or Inactive Listings page.
Non-Variation Listings
- These same rules apply to listings that do not use variations. A listing without a price, quantity, or both will follow the same Out of Stock or Inactive Listings placement described above.
